Trying to lose weight using a combination of the TLC diet plan (worked for me before), Herbalife (also worked for me before), the Mindless Eating philosophy, and exercise 6 days a week at the gym. Its not going to be easy, but if it were easy, we would all be thin! The weight range to get a BMI of 20-25 for me requires losing 30-44 kgs!!!! Wow!

I had to start a new account - this one is broken. No weight coming off... We'll see if a new account works.

LOL - just kidding - started a new account because I'm not getting any notifications frm this one

Ah Mands, I put on, like, 700g the other day and lost 900g last night. A little weight gain isn't the end of the world - the beauty is: it comes off.

Ooh! Look - I've put on weight! YAY!!!

You are very right. Tough to do though. It's such a strong habit to use 'momentous events' like 1st of a month or New Years as a crutch.

you are totally right - and my previous statement is complete against my "start now" philosophy.

I've told you that philosophy, right? The one that goes - if you are not ready to commit right now (eg, 3:17 pm, Thursday afternoon), then you are actually not ready to commit on Monday either - you are setting yourself up for failure before you even begin.

Why wait for Monday? If you weigh daily, then every day is a fresh start.

Another Monday, another fresh start

So what I'm thinking is ... the diet has you so drained that you can only manage to type three letters at a time. Go you. You are my idol :)

Don't 'Meh' me ... you can do this. And it would be fun to have a buddy to do this with. I've seen you drop the kilos very quickly before ... what's to stop you doing it again?
March 16, 2007
Meh.

Socialising is not necessarily a bad thing, it's a good thing to have friends :) See you Monday.

Bugger... oh well... we start again properly on Monday (too much socialising this week)...

Yay! You updated! And I'm very glad to see you are still below your start weight - bet you are pleased you won't be starting from scratch! So, what's the plan?

Ok, ok! I'm back. From outer space...

Seriously - fixed now (scary lung infection, hospitalisation and all that).

Oh my God! 24 hours??? Are you sure withdrawal won't make the flu worse?

So sorry to hear you are sick - it sounds yukky. Well, rest up, read a book ( something with motivating gorgeous skinny chicks in it ) and we will see you around when you are better.

Ok, yes - I vanished to Jo'burg to run a corporate conference, and now I am back (from outer space) with James evil devil spawn flu.

So I will be out of action here for some days... when I'm able to get out of bed and weight myself and log in, I'll update. Otherwise, I am actually going more than 24 hours without connecting to the net! Can you believe it?

Ooooh! Wobbly legs - I like those ( in a weird proud-of-myself way ).
February 12, 2007
Well, I dunno if the herbalife is helping (I haven't really been able to get back into any sort of routine with it). But today was really tough in the gym. 5 minutes on the bicycle, 50 crunches, 30 reps of the super circuit and 4 minutes rowing (I tried for 5 minutes, I really did). Wobbly legs...

Woo hoo! It's awesome to have some kind of goal to work towards. Is the Herbalife helping?
February 11, 2007
Well, I have a tough goal to reach - I'd like to drop several kilos before my next corporate conference - 20 Feb. There is a nice corproate mix and match wardrobe I have my eye on at one of the shops near me, and I can't bring myself to buy it in my current size... so here goes. TLC, Herbalife and gym...

Yay! It'll be good to have you back. Have fun with your mum.
February 09, 2007
Sigh... no big deal... we start again. On Monday - after my mom has come to visit (and I've taken her to sushi, lunch, dinner, etc)

Sorry to see you've been having trouble lately. Any idea what is causing the problem? ( Your calorie intake doesn't look so bad, so I'm guessing it isn't the food ).
February 03, 2007
Well, in todays' world - 51 would be better... look, that is the mathematical lower range of a supposed healthy BMI. But I haven't been 51 kg since I was ... I dunno, 12 or something... you've seen my "skinny pics" - that was around 57 kgs, so I guess around 60kg would be great.
February 02, 2007
Hay mandy you are aiming to loose 30 - 44 kg's

so that is 51 to 65.

but where do YOU want to be???
Anonymous User
February 02, 2007
Well - under goal weight it lists 64kg, so I'm guessing that's it...right?
